THESE THREE CREATIVE TASKS ALLOW KS5 STUDENTS TO EXPLORE THE THREE AOT KEATS POEMS FROM A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE. IN DOING SO, THEY WILL GAIN A DEEPER UNDERSTANDING OF THE POEMS. LAMIA - MODERN CITYSCAPE - STUDENTS ARE GIVEN THEMED PROMPTS FROM THE ORIGINAL POEM TO INTERPRET INTO A MODERN CONTEXT. EVE OF ST. AGNES - CREATIVE WRITING - STUDENTS HAVE A CHOICE OF 7 WRITING PROMPTS TO CHOOSE FROM, INCLUDING PROPHORYO’S PERSPECTIVE, MADELINE’S JOURNAL ENTRY AND AN EPISTOLARY REFLECTION - WRITTEN EITHER IN KEATS’ POETIC LANGUAGE OR IN MODERN LANGUAGE.
